How can I book you for my wedding day or portrait session?

Once we settle on a date, I’ll ask for a deposit & your paperwork. Both will save your date 100%. I cannot reserve a date without a signed contract & deposit.
What is your style?
Romantic, modern, candid and elegant. My images are timeless blend of traditional & modern moments, but timeless so that in 20 years, they will still be true-to-color. You will have a nice mixture of the in-between moments and posed shots that everyone requests.
I believe that you will cherish the candid photos as those are the moments that you will never guess that I shot!
Do I receive a DVD/thumb drive of my photos?
In today’s digital times, you will receive your wedding photos in an modern and beautiful online gallery. Each package is ‘inclusive’ meaning that you will own all of the high-resolution photos and have print rights to your images via an online gallery; you can upload them straight to your desktop. You will be able to send your wedding gallery to all of your friends and family, whom have viewing, downloading and print rights as well.
Color or black & white?
Both. While most of your photos will be in color, some may be in black and white. It just depends what my creative eye sees.
Can I ask you to convert a color image to black and white, or a black and white to color?
Sure! You get up to (5) conversions from your wedding images, anything additional is billed per hour. Portraits receive (3). The converted images will be emailed to you.
Can you Photoshop that?
I rarely use Photoshop. I use Adobe Lightroom for post-processing, color correction and cropping. The images that you see on my Instagram, Facebook page, and my web site are an exact example of my editing style.
Do you shoot in manual mode/RAW format?
Yes, I believe that I must have full control over my camera settings and I desire to get the perfect image and quality.
Do you have general liability and equipment insurance?
Yes and yes.
How many weddings do you photograph on my wedding week? On my wedding day?
I am all yours on your wedding day and weekend! I am devoted to give you all of the attention that you deserve throughout the whole experience. By only taking a specific amount of weddings per year, I can provide you rad customer service, personalized emails and phone calls, and lastly, an impeccably curated wedding photo gallery.
How soon will I receive my images?
I always try to get these to you sooner . . . Weddings are 8-10 weeks and for portraits are 2-4 weeks. Hey, it’s SO worth it!
Your experience::
What should I wear to my portrait session?
If it’s a maternity session, engagement shoot or a family session, I always suggest bright, colorful & hip clothing. I also want you to be comfortable so this is why we can personally speak in person or via the phone. I want you to feel your best during your photo shoot (and look your best in the images!). Get fun & funky with shoes too, a scarf or a handmade sign from “Etsy!”
Any accessories or memoirs for you, or unique toys for your kiddos are encouraged. Hats & tutu’s, bold & colorful jewelry. These all contribute depth to your photos. Go all out! Your photo session only happens once {or a few times in your life}.
How long will my session last? Should I bring snacks/a blanket?
Session times vary with each photo shoot. Most of my packages are from 1-2 hours.
Newborn sessions may last up to 3 hours so that mommy & baby can snuggle and feed.
I always encourage snacks & even special treats for your kiddos, you know what I mean. Mom, dad & couples… feel free to bring a bottle of wine!
Location & Weather::
I get to know my couples & families pretty well so that we can determine the best & most unique location for your session. We will spend some time selecting what’s right for you and your kiddos.
While our weather is pretty temperate, it does rain on occasion. If it calls for rain the day or two before, and especially the day-of, I reschedule with you usually the day-before so that we all can continue with our day. I exhaust every effort to provide you with the soonest date possible.
